Our Story
My name is Esta Naylor. Together with my husband Tim and our three children, we own a sheep and beef farm in Southland, New Zealand. In 2020, when our youngest was just six months old, I felt ready to explore something new - so McIvor Hill was born.
We’ve always had beautiful lambs’ wool coming straight from our paddocks. Seeing how our kids were lucky enough to wear hand-knitted jerseys from their grandmothers got me thinking: there weren’t many options for adults or children to buy locally made woollen garments. That realisation sparked my journey into design and production, and it’s been a learning curve ever since.
Today, we’re proud to offer 100% lambs’ wool jerseys, produced right here in New Zealand from our animals to your doorstep. We love the rolling hills we call home, and each McIvor Hill piece carries that feeling of family and community.
Thank you for supporting our little corner of Southland. We hope you enjoy the warmth and comfort of your McIvor Hill jersey for years to come.
Stay warm,
Esta Naylor
