Our Story

My name is Esta Naylor alongside my husband Tim and our 3 children we are the owners of McIvor Hill.

We have a sheep and beef farm in Southland, New Zealand.

McIvor Hill came about in 2020 when my youngest child was six months old and was starting to get his independence. This would give me more time to put some of my energy in a new direction.

Having a sheep farm already producing beautiful wool we wanted to bring it to the world to enjoy, direct from our farm to you.

Our children have been lucky enough to have two amazing grandmas that knitted plenty of jerseys, vests, hats and more for them from a new-born. This got me thinking that there weren’t many wool jerseys to purchase for adults or children. And so my journey into all things fashion, design, production began.

We are proud to say that our sweaters are made of 100% lambs' wool from our beautiful sheep farm, cleaned, spun, knitted right here in New Zealand.
